With the end of the season fast approaching, clubs have begun preparing their transfer strategies. One club which has done the same is Manchester United, with the Red Devils deciding on several targets. However, they have had to face an early rejection this time around, with one of their key targets preferring a move to Tottenham.
With the chances of winning a trophy this season all but gone, Manchester United have started to plan towards the next one. Several names have been linked with the Red Devils, with a few expected to join in the coming months.
However, one player who won’t be joining the thirteen-time Premier League champions is Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.
The English youngster is considered to be one of the best talents in the country and has several clubs in the chase for him. However, reports from the Express suggest that the eighteen-year-old left-sided player is set to snub Manchester United and instead sign for Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the report, the England U-21 player has decided to stay in London, thereby ruling out a move to Manchester. Sessegnon’s decision is also bad news for European giants Paris Saint Germain, who have reportedly been monitoring him.
Tottenham, meanwhile, could welcome Sessgnon as their first new signing since January 2018, having gone two full windows without a single signing.
